Lady Death Demonicron Arcade and Outlast in Demonicron

Lady Death Demonicron ships a 15-level story hunt. That campaign is the product Art of Play sold on Kickstarter, Steam, and the official shop. Two extra modes sit beside it: Arcade and Outlast. Both were named on the official Facebook cheat list in June 2026 as unlocks, not as default menu items. If your edition has no cheat sheet, do not expect those tiles on day one.

This page is the comparison. Button sequences live on the printed or digital sheet, not here. How to actually punch them in sits on how to enter codes. The list of every announced cheat sits on the codes hub. Combat value still lives in the combat guide. Modes do not replace any of that.

The three loops, in plain language

Story (15 levels). Cemetery and prison gates, hell pits, an undead metal festival, a demonic dinosaur catastrophe, a cannibal industrial nightmare, and the rest of the numbered hunt. Steam tags include multiple endings. This is where Lady Death mourns a friend, walks through a portal, and fights Razorbacks with a scythe. This is also where trophies and a PlayStation Platinum live. Do not confuse a credit-feed arcade loop with this campaign.

Arcade. Official copy only says “unlock arcade mode.” The studio framed cheats in 16-bit Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat language, so treat Arcade as a classic credit-feed loop until a booklet or launch menu proves otherwise. Expect shorter stages, a continue prompt, and a score chase. Do not assume it retells Brian Pulido’s story. Do not assume it uses the same ending flags. If the retail menu lists lives, difficulty, or a high-score table, we will add those rows after 31 August 2026 footage, not before.

Outlast. Same honesty: the studio named it next to Arcade and did not publish a rule card. The name implies endurance — survive waves, last longer, maybe no continues. We will not invent a timer, a shrinking arena, or a horror-camera gimmick just because another game used the word. Until Art of Play or the sheet describes the win condition, Outlast is “the other unlockable mode,” not a stealth campaign and not a replacement for the dinosaur biome.

How you unlock them

Kickstarter backers and Art of Play shop pre-orders were promised a digital cheat code sheet. Digital Deluxe Hardcore lists a digital sheet. Physical Deluxe Hardcore adds a printed sheet in the box. Digital Standard lists a 10-page combo move-book instead. Compare SKUs on editions before you sit on the title screen hunting a secret.

Sequences are controller combos. Analog sticks will miss them. A full restart clears every cheat, including mode unlocks, and turns trophies back on. That is the official policy, not a wiki guess.

If you are still in the Steam demo, stop looking. Cheats were announced for the first full release. The June 2026 demo is a combat exam, not a mode select.

Trophies, Platinum, and a clean boot

A player asked whether codes disable trophies. The official account said yes, and the game posts an on-screen notification. Restarting clears codes and re-activates trophies. A PlayStation Platinum was confirmed in the same thread.

Practical split:

• Want Arcade or Outlast for a night of extra blood and one-hit kills? Enter the unlock, accept the warning box, and treat the session as practice.
• Want story endings, Steam Achievements, or a Platinum? Fully quit to the OS. Boot with no sequences. Play the 15 levels on the walkthrough route.

Do not mix those boots. If the notification is on screen, the run is flagged.

Infinite health, infinite power, extra blood, one-hit kills, and extra speed (Street Fighter Alpha style) can sit on the same cheat boot as the mode unlocks. Extra speed makes Arcade more of a tour and Outlast harder to read. Infinite power is the only slider that still teaches moves, because you can drill scythe throws without waiting for the blue meter. One-hit kills will lie to you about Riot Guard armor. Use them to scout, then restart.

What these modes are not

They are not online ladders. Co-op in this game is local split-screen with Ravenheart. Arcade will not matchmake a stranger. Outlast will not invite a Steam friend in another city.

They are not extra story chapters stuffed after credits. The hunt through hell is the 15-level campaign. If Arcade reuses those palettes — cemetery stone, lava fields, industrial catwalks — that is asset reuse, not a sixteenth realm.

They are not a substitute for learning jump kicks. Grounded Crawlers still need the kick. Reveal detonations still cost meter unless infinite power is on. Overkills still belong to whoever lands the special.

How to practice without spoiling the campaign

1. Clear the opening gate from getting started with no cheats so you know the walk cycle.
2. If your sheet includes Arcade, run it once with extra speed off and infinite health on. Learn which corpses still need a jump kick when god mode is cheating for you.
3. Quit completely.
4. Play story for trophies.
5. After a Platinum or a clean Steam set, reopen Outlast as a endurance toy.

If you only own Standard digital, your practice tool is the combo move-book and this wiki, not Arcade. That is an edition choice, not a bug.

After 31 August 2026

Digital Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox unlock on 31 August 2026. Switch digital follows 11 September 2026. Physical Switch and PS5 copies ship from November 2026. The first thing this page will add after menus are public is a three-column table: lives, continues, scoring, whether Ravenheart can join, and whether endings can fire. Until those screenshots exist, treat Arcade and Outlast as sheet unlocks sitting beside a 15-level story, not as the game you pre-ordered.
