Lady Death Demonicron Guides
How to play, how to combo, and how to finish the hunt.
Lady Death Demonicron is not a mash-to-win brawler. Art of Play built a 15-level side-scroller that borrows Streets of Rage crowding, Golden Axe weapon pickups, and Mortal Kombat-style finishers. Players coming from the Steam demo often bounce off the same three problems: no in-game tutorial, fighting-game directional inputs, and grounded enemies that ignore standing punches. This hub is the map for those problems.
Start with the getting started guide if you have not cleared a full stage yet. It covers lives, the blue special meter, score, and the first cemetery/prison-gate stretch. Pair it with controls so a pad is mapped before you fight Razorbacks and Riot Guards. Keyboard support was missing from early backer builds; the shipping game lists full controller support and recommends a gamepad, so treat a DualSense, DualShock, or Xbox pad as the default.
Combat is the skill ceiling. Lead developer Billy Deakin has shown roughly sixty Lady Death moves, including scythe throws, a levitate spin, a reveal stun that detonates crowds, and six special sword states such as the flaming blade. Killing with a special counts as an Overkill and plays a unique death: vertical split, horizontal slice, fire, or a gore explosion. The combat guide walks those layers. If you only need ranking of tools, jump to the moves tier list and the swords tier list.
The free Steam demo opened on 15 June 2026. It is the right place to test frame feel, but it is not the full product. Early demo footage still lacked grapples and some air combat; later drops added more of the move list. Read demo versus full game and the dedicated demo guide before you treat a 13-minute first impression as the last word. Digital launch for Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox is 31 August 2026. Nintendo Switch digital follows on 11 September 2026.
Co-op is local only. Ravenheart is the second starter — a haunted swordsman with a heavier blade and the touch of death. Steam lists shared/split-screen co-op, not online sessions. The co-op guide explains who should hold space, how to share pickups, and why one player mashing while the other hunts Overkills will fail a boss. Kickstarter copy also promised extra allies later in the campaign; treat those as story unlocks, not extra online fighters.
If you want an opinion before you pre-order, read the demo review. It is a combat verdict, not a 15-level score.
For the campaign itself, use the walkthrough. Official text names realms you will actually visit: hell pits, an undead heavy-metal festival, a demonic dinosaur catastrophe, and a cannibal industrial nightmare. Screenshots already show named fodder such as Crawler, Draptor, Razorback, and Riot Guard. Steam tags include multiple endings and choices matter, so the walkthrough flags decision points instead of pretending there is one golden path.
Cheat codes sit beside the guides, not inside them. Deluxe and pre-order packs include a digital cheat sheet with Street Fighter-style button sequences. Using a code disables trophies until you restart. If you bought Hardcore or Deluxe, open how to enter codes and the mode unlocks page for Arcade and Outlast. Standard digital owners should not expect the sheet on day one.
Hardware and shopping questions belong in Tools. Check system requirements before you promise a Steam Deck evening, and compare editions if you still need to pick Standard, Deluxe, or Hardcore. Dates and key-email windows live on the roadmap. Official storefronts are collected under links.
How to use this hub on launch week:
- Play one demo stage with a pad in your hands.
- Learn two Overkill routes from the combat page.
- Decide whether Ravenheart joins you on the couch.
- Bookmark codes only if your edition includes the sheet.
- Follow the walkthrough when you hit a named boss that shrugs standing hits.
This wiki is unofficial. Lady Death remains a Coffin Comics character; Brian Pulido co-wrote the game into canon. Confirm patch notes and key emails on the developer site and Steam news hub, then come back here for the practical routing.

Which Lady Death Demonicron guide should I open first?

Where is the story walkthrough?
The walkthrough covers the 15 levels and named realms. Pair it with Lady Death if you want character lore while you play.
