Lady Death Demonicron Enemies
Every confirmed enemy type and how to actually kill them.
Full-game footage after the 31 August 2026 launch has confirmed five named enemy types plus boss encounters. This page names every enemy the camera has shown, ranks their threat level, and gives the correct counter. Demo players who mashed punch on hopping elites will recognize several of these. The fix is in the counter column.
Fodder — Crawler
What it looks like: Fast-moving ground demon, often spawning in packs of three or more. Low health, no armor.
Threat level: Low individually. Dangerous in numbers when you are backing into a wall.
How to kill: Walk the lane, light string, jump kick corpses. Do not spend meter. A reveal detonation is wasteful on a single Crawler.
Co-op note: Both players can clear Crawler packs independently. Overkill credit goes to whoever lands the special.
Brute — Razorback
What it looks like: Large armored demon, nameplate confirmed in HUD screenshots. Typically appears alone or in pairs.
Threat level: High. Demo bosses ignored light pokes; Razorbacks are the mid-stage gold standard.
How to kill: Block the hop, punish with a committed sword string, Overkill if two stack. Standing punch into a hopping Razorback wastes time.
Meter strategy: Bank blue bar for scythe throw if the Razorback camps the far lane of a platform. Reveal if three or more overlap.
Shield — Riot Guard
What it looks like: Armored demon with a shield visible in screenshots and gameplay captures. Appears in night-city and industrial stages.
Threat level: Medium-High. Shield blocks standing punches; you must break the lane.
How to kill: Sidekick or throw to break the shield. Standing punches into armor waste time. In split-screen, assign one player to break the shield while the other moves in.
Special note: Riot Guards appear on industrial catwalks. Extra speed from the cheat sheet makes these platforms harder, not easier.
Aerial — Draptor
What it looks like: Flying or hopping demon. Appears on the demonic dinosaur catastrophe level and in lava-field footage.
Threat level: High. Demo players who mashed grounded punches found Draptors impossible to hit.
How to kill: Jump kick and levitate. Grounded normals lie on lava fields. Bank meter for levitate; it is the anti-Draptor special.
Co-op note: Lady Death should anti-air. Ravenheart stays on skeletal brutes and does not chase flyers across lava.
Stinger — Hell Rat
What it looks like: Small, fast-moving demon. Mentioned in the official site realm descriptions alongside hell pits.
Threat level: Low individually. Can overwhelm in groups or corner you against stage hazards.
How to kill: Light string or walk-kick. Save special meter for larger enemies.
Boss Encounters
Full-game footage confirms bosses at key points in the 15-level campaign. The game demands committed strings, not chip damage.
Boss template:
- Block hops.
- Jump kick if they belly-flop.
- Spend meter on the special that matches their size: throw for far, reveal for adds, flaming sword for a single fat health bar.
- If they ignore pokes, you are doing the demo-boss dance — stop tapping.
Specific confirmed bosses:
- D-Rex: The demonic dinosaur. Jump kick is mandatory. Draptors share the biome. Bank meter for levitate.
- Riot Guard commanders: Appear in industrial stages. Sidekick or throw to break armor before committing a string.
After Switch launch (11 September 2026): Physical editions with the 8-page strategy booklet may name additional bosses. This page will update with confirmed names as they appear in footage.
Enemy Naming Conventions
The HUD shows nameplates during combat: RAZORBACK, CRAWLER, RIOT GUARD, DRAPTOR. Trust the in-game nameplate over a community nickname. If a named enemy appears in footage without a confirmed type, it goes here as unknown until a nameplate or official source names it.
Co-op Targeting Rules
- Lady Death: anti-air (Draptors), crowd (Crawler packs), far lane (Riot Guards).
- Ravenheart: heavy lane (Razorbacks), armored targets (Riot Guard commanders).
- Call targets. Overkill credit goes to whoever lands the special.
- Do not both dump meter into one Razorback.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for launch week, the Steam demo, and co-op nights.
What is the hardest enemy in Lady Death Demonicron?
Draptors and Razorbacks are the highest threat. Draptors require jump kicks or levitate; Razorbacks demand committed strings and Overkill spending.
How do I kill Riot Guards?
Sidekick or throw to break the shield, then commit a sword string. Standing punches into armor do not work.
Why do my attacks miss enemies on the ground?
Jump kick is the correct tool. Standing normals often whiff on grounded bodies. See the moves tier list.
Are there boss fights in every level?
Footage confirms bosses at key points. Not every stage has a named boss encounter, but elite enemies appear throughout all 15 levels.
